FEATURE: Pingu & The Language of Nonsense

Children's television is often maligned as being moronic, throwaway entertainment, but as with every genre, there are bright spots of innovation and creativity if you know where to look for them. Take the global hit Pinguon the surface, it's little more than the sweetly benign adventures of a clay penguin, but look a little closer, and the show's style and storytelling offers a lot to contemplate.
